Some of the drugs used to treat your cancer can effect how you feel. They can make you feel poorly.

07970 343305. This helpline number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If nobody answers please leave a message with your:

  • name
  • telephone number
  • date of birth
  • hospital number (which can be found on the red or green card you were given at consent).

Contact for help

You will need to contact the acute oncology team for help if:

You have high a temperature

You have a temperature of 37.5 degrees or above.

You have a low temperature

You have a temperature of 36 degrees or below.

Signs of infection

If you have any signs of infection;
hot or cold - shivers

Feeling sick

Nausea or vomiting not controlled by your medicines.

Diarrhoea

Diarrhoea lasting more than 24 hours.

Sore mouth

If you start to develop a sore mouth that stops you eating or drinking.
