Matron’s Clinic

On behalf of the whole team welcome to the Bradford Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Whilst being with us is not what you had planned, we hope we can make your time with us as pleasant and memorable as possible.

We know that being a parent or carer on NICU can be really challenging from an emotional, mental, financial and physical point of view. That in mind, I would like to speak to you about your journey with us to make sure that we are offering the best service possible.

I hold regular clinics to give you the opportunity to discuss what is on your mind, talk about your baby’s care and provide feedback in a safe environment.

Purpose of the clinic:

  • Talk about what is going well
  • Discuss your views on what we could do better and how we could improve services for families
  • Talk about your journey and any worries you may have
  • Discuss any challenges you face
  • Signposting you to support services
