Best Supportive & Palliative Care.

It may be that an anti-cancer treatment is not suitable for you. In this digital patient leaflet we will discuss best supportive and palliative care.

This care may be provided in:

  • Your own home – by District Nursing Teams, Hospice at Home services, community-based palliative care teams, or Marie Curie nurses.
  • Hospices
  • Hospitals – by hospital-based palliative care teams
  • Care homes

There is an excellent advisory service here in the district called the Palliative Care Network. It has lots of advice to support you and your family on its website: https://palliativecare.bradfordcraven.nhs.uk/
